Anna Bee Collection is an Atlanta-based luxury wig brand, specializing in custom made lace wigs and raw extensions. Anna Bee is quickly becoming a competitor in the luxury wig industry, owned by master wig maker Brianna Blige.
Brianna also provides personal classes on wig making.
SCOPE
Anna Bee needed a serious re-brand, and we've been working together since 2017 to consistently create visuals that foster brand recognition. The wig/hair industry is highly saturated, especially in Atlanta. Brianna Blige, owner and master wig maker, wanted her brand to be presented as feminine, luxury, "signature", and dark.
DESIGN
Color Palette:
Pink is common within the cosmetics/beauty space, but we chose a muted, dusty pink with a deep mauve to stand out amongst the brighter pink hair brands. I paired those two with black and grey to keep the palette dark as desired, and not overbearing. The pink color plays off of the rose gold foil texture used in the logos and submarks.
Typography:
My client made it clear she loved the "signature" look. She wasn't fond of her actual signature, and my handwritten signature was a bit too curly for her taste so I chose "Best Deals." This signature font is feminine but still easy to read. I paired that with a very modern sans serif font in uppercase to convey firmness, contrast to the soft signature font.
Elements: With my client being firm on wanting rose gold foil included, I made sure it was an element of the visuals without it being overbearing, unprofessional, or hard to see. In print, we utilize rose gold foil masks to add a touch of glamor and luxury.

Anna Bee is constantly promoting wig making services, product pricing, classes, and recently the release of their new manual "Triple Digits". I've designed most of the digital media for their brand, optimized for Instagram.
